Sansa Choker & More.

So… I mentioned I was getting a delivery from Wool and the Gang a couple of blog posts earlier.

My delivery came today – I can safely say I was very excited! I tried contacting them regarding adding a phillips screwdriver to my order – However due to the Christmas and New Year backlog they replied later than usual – They’d sent me the screwdriver as an apology and an Alpaca tote free of charge!

They do know how to present things minimalist and beautifully – Two things that satisfy my aesthetically pleasing mind.

I found out there are two ways of making this necklace –

  1. Make a slip loop stitch on left needle, then knit a stitch but bring the stitch over ( left needle also instead of slipping onto right ) – Then slip right needle through the two stitches, knit a stitch and bring over left needle as before – Repeat again until number of stitches have been applied then cast off as usual.
  2. Make a slip loop stitch on left needle, then knit a stitch but bring the stitch over  – Then slip right needle through the two stitches, knit a stitch and bring over left needle as before – Repeat again until 4 stitches are cast on. – Transfer stitches to other needle then start knitting each stitch – Once stitch is knitted transfer to other needle – Repeat steps until desired length is achieved then cast off as usual.

Needless to say, Nym was very happy with the end result.
